As a result of the increasing polarisation, and normalisation of hate, those impacted by it, struggle to come forward and get the needed reparation, which is why the EU has recognised how victims should be empowered and have their rights enhanced and validated! |
Three main
|
Directed at achieving its main goal of building a victim-centred approach to handling and managing hate and extremism incidents, the VicTory Project proposes to achieve 3 main objectives:

and cooperation of key practitioners (i.e. criminal justice professionals, victims support workers, and case managers) when working with victims of hate crimes and (violent) extremism-related incidents. ■ Improve the effective and coherent application
of legislation and good practices such as restorative-led, to uphold victims’ rights, mitigating secondary victimisation. |
