Three main
Objectives

Directed at achieving its main goal of building a victim-centred approach to handling and managing hate and extremism incidents, the VicTory Project proposes to achieve 3 main objectives: 

■ Build a victim-centred approach 
​to the support of victims of hate crimes and (violent) extremism-related incidents.

■ Enhance the capacities, intervention support,
and cooperation of key practitioners 
​(i.e. criminal justice professionals, victims support workers, and case managers)  when working with victims of hate crimes and (violent) extremism-related incidents.

■ Improve the effective and coherent application
​of legislation and good practices
such as restorative-led, to uphold victims’ rights, mitigating secondary victimisation.
